Schematic representation of the association between the presence or absence of a given allele in the genotype of the cell lines of the NCI-60 panel and the cytotoxicity of Top 1 inhibitors, antifolates and taxanes. The mean IC₅₀s of drug classes towards the 60 cell lines, expressed as –log(IC₅₀), were equalled to zero, the cytotoxicities higher than the mean were given a positive sign and the cytotoxicities lower than the mean a negative sign. White columns: absence of allele A, B or C in the genotype; black columns: presence of allele A, B or C in the genotype.
