Accumulation of hypericin, expressed as % of injected dose per gram of tumour, as a function of tumour weight. Animals bearing A431, AY27, CaCo-2, MH22A, R1 or RIF-1 tumours were killed at 6 h after i.v. injection (tail) of hypericin (5 mg kg⁻¹). Data points were fitted using one-phase exponential decay.
