Cumulated overall survival rates for patients <12 months of age and ⩾12 months of age are shown. Among patients <12 months of age, the 2- and 4-year overall survival rates for patients with <10 copies of MYCN (n=443) were 98.2 and 97.9%, respectively, which were significantly higher than the 40.8 and 40.8% for patients with ⩾10 copies of MYCN (n=14) (P<0.0001). In patients ⩾12 months of age, the 2- and 4-OS rates for patients with <10 copies of MYCN (n=106) were 83.8 and 72.0%, respectively, whereas those of patients with ⩾10 copies of MYCN (n=46) were 67.1 and 54.4%, respectively (P=0.0117).
