Cumulated overall survival rates for patients <12 months of age and ⩾12 months of age are shown. Among patients <12 months of age, the 2- and 4-year overall survival rates for patients without 1p deletion (n=238) were 99.2 and 98.6%, respectively, which were significantly higher than the 82.9 and 82.9% for patients with 1p deletion (n=24) (P<0.0001). In patients ⩾12 months of age, the 2- and 4-OS rates for patients without 1p deletion (n=70) were 79.6 and 70.1%, respectively, whereas those for patients with it (n=29) were 75.2 and 42.5%, respectively (P=0.1148).
