Uptake of CdCl₂ by different cell lines. MCF7, MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-435 cells were treated with 10 μM of ¹⁰⁹CdCl₂ and disintegrations per minute (d.p.m.) were measured and expressed as d.p.m. mg protein⁻¹ at (A) 8 h, and (B) 24 h after treatment. Results are mean±s.e. of three independent experiments.
