PKI166 and U0126 induce apoptosis and increase proportions of cells in G₁. The percentages of cells in sub-G₁/hypodiploid (solid bars) and in G₁ (cross-hatched bars) following 48 h treatment with PKI166 (0.5 or 5.0 μM) or U0126 (10 μM), and the combination were determined by FACS analysis of propidium iodide stained cells. Values shown are the mean and SD from three independent experiments, and ^* indicates a significant difference from the control values, P<0.05, Student's t-test.
