Inhibition of ITK expression postinfection blocks viral production and spread. (a) Jurkat cells were infected with VSV-G-pseudotyped HXB-PLAPnef + virus for 24 h. Cells were then transiently transfected with siITK or control RNA. Supernatents and whole-cell lysate samples were taken at several time points after siRNA transfection and assayed for extracellular p24 by ELISA or ITK protein by immunoblot, respectively.
