The shaded area represents isotype control, solid lines represent female DP cells, and the dotted lines represent male DP cells. (B) Male HY TCR mice show no exposure of the BH3 domain of Bcl-2 in DN or SP cells. Five independent experiments have been done with similar results. All staining of HY TCR transgenic mice is on HY TCR⁺ thymocytes.
