Inhibition by dUMP. The Ki value for product (dUMP) inhibition was calculated with the Kmapp values obtained at different dUMP concentrations (5, 10, 15, and 20 μM using the formula shown in Materials and Methods for competitive inhibitors. The value obtained was 12.35 μM. The reactions were carried out using 50 μM dUTP and 30 nM dUTPase at pH 8 and 25°C.
