Pretreatment with apamin (100 nm) for 10 min before adding UTP to the apical solution resulted in a significant increase in the peak I_sc (UTP was added at 15 s and the peak I_sc was measured at 70 s) compared to control monolayers. The mean digitized tracings of six control and six apamin-treated monolayers are shown along with standard error values (vertical bars) for each of the data points.
