The 125 surgical breast cancer tumour specimens were analysed by immunohistochemical staining antibodies specific to FOXO3a and MDM2, respectively. The expression pattern of FOXO3a and MDM2 was analysed by using χ-square test (P = 0.0138). A P value of less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
