(A) Spatial working memory in the eight-arm radial maze with 30-sec delay. Total number of revisits to arms from which pellets had already been taken, (i.e., working memory error) is represented as mean±SEM. Irradiated rats (n = 17) showed a higher number of working memory errors than control (sham-irradiated) rats (n = 15). (B): In the probe trials of the Morris water maze, spatial reference memory was intact in the irradiated rats (n = 12).
