C57BL/6 mice were infected intravenously with 3,000 live L. monocytogenes. At the indicated times, spleens, livers and kidneys were removed and serum was harvested and MCP-1 and MCP-3 levels were determined. (A) MCP-1and (B) MCP-3 levels in organ lysates and serum were quantified by sandwich ELISA. Each bar represents three mice and the experiment was repeated three times. Error bars show standard deviation.
