TNX KO mice abnormalities. Vaginal plugs, which are present after mating, are much more difficult to asses in TNX KO mice than in WT mice. This resulted in a significant increase of pregnancies in which the date of impregnation was unknown (a, *P<0.025, Chi-square test). Total evaluations: TNX KO mice, n=32; WT mice, n=28. In this study, no uterine prolapses were observed, although some TNX KO mice suffered from a rectal prolapse (b). Rectal prolapses were also observed in TNX-deficient patients, although the incidence in TNX KO mouse was lower (<1% in mice)
