Abundance and T2 relaxation of the different fat peaks (relative to CH2 peak area) determined by spectroscopy in Intralipid (20 % fat fraction) and in 21 patients with fatty liver (various fat fractions). All amplitudes are corrected for T2 decay by taking spectra at multiple TE and curve-fitting the value to a TE of zero. Note the errors in the patient data reflect the standard deviation over the population and not error in the measurement
