(b) Asp-RNAAsn conversion to Asn-tRNAAsn by the M. thermautotrophicus GatCAB (5 nM) in the presence of Gln (4 mM) (●) or Asn (4 mM) (▲). In both (a) and (b), reactions were carried with 4 mM ATP and 10 µM mischarged tRNA (Glu-tRNAGln or Asp-tRNAAsn, respectively).
