Measurement of gene expression by different methods. The ratio of PC3/PC3-M gene expression was measured by Northern blot, qRT/PCR, and microarray for each of the 24 genes listed in Table 1, as described in Materials and Methods. Gene expression was normalized to that of GAPDH. Depicted values are the mean of two different measurements, performed at separate times. The first measurement used RNA from experiment #1, while the second used RNA from experiment #2, as described in Figure 1. For each plot, the resultant correlation coefficients are depicted, as are outlier genes.
