In all mice, the radiotracer was injected and biodistribution studies were performed at 60 min. In one group of mice (challenge experiment), 5-FU-treated mice were pretreated with 100 times unlabelled annexin V at 60 min prior to radiotracer injection. 5-FU=5-fluorouracil; SIB=N-succinimidyl-3-iodobenzoic acid.

Data are mean tumour-to-blood ratios±s.e.m. (n=3–10).
