Sagittal single slice images through the tumour and muscle of the hind limb. Dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging images were acquired before, and 2 and 10 min after, injection of the contrast agent (Gd-DTPA). The tumour rim enhanced rapidly and the core more slowly. Muscle of the hind limb is located to the right of the tumour.
