In short, one image was flash-suppressed (the target, shown in the most left stream of events) by another image (the suppressor, shown in the middle stream of events). When the suppressor appeared, the target became invisible (most right stream of events). An observer then waited until the target became visible again upon which he or she was instructed to click a mouse button at the location where the target reentered perception.
