Mössbauer spectra of native CPO recorded at 4.2 K in the presence of a field of 320 G applied parallel (Upper) and perpendicular (Lower) to the γ beam. An admixture of high-spin CPO amounting to 3% of the spectral area has been subtracted to remove extraneous peaks at |v| > 5 mm/s. The subtracted Mössbauer spectra (error bars) are overlaid on simulations (solid lines) based on Eq. 1 using the parameters of Table 2.
