Cells were fractionated into soluble fraction (C), membrane fraction (M), and cytoskeletal fraction (CS) as described. (B) PTP activity of subcellular fractions of clones that are designated as described above. An equal amount of protein (45 μg) from the cytosol of each clone and an equivalent proportion from membrane and cytoskeletal fraction were used for immunoblot and for PTPMEG assay.
