In vitro binding of [¹⁸F]FETA to RIF-1 cells under hypoxic (-•-) and normoxic (-○-) conditions. The cells were incubated with [¹⁸F]FETA under nitrogen gas or air for 0–120 min and washed to remove unbound radioactivity. The percentage of bound radioactivity was calculated as (bound radioactivity in 10⁶ cells × 100)/total radioactivity. Data are mean±s.e.m. (n=3), ^*P⩽0.05.
