Anti-TNF antibody response in mice immunised with TNF autovaccine. Two groups of 4-week-old C57BL/6 mice (n=8) were initially immunised with 100 μg TNF autovaccine or HEL in CFA then, at two-weekly intervals, boosted three times with 100 μg of the same antigen in IFA. Serum samples were taken prior to immunisation and every 2 weeks thereafter. The TNF antibody levels were measured in an ELISA. The titre values were calculated as the dilution of serum, which corresponded to titres from nonimmunised mice. The mean levels±s.e.m. are shown. This is representative of two independent experiments.
