Effect of anti-TNF monoclonal antibody treatment in the B16F10 metastatic model. C57BL/6 mice (8-week old) (anti-TNF group) were treated with i.p. injections of anti-TNF monoclonal antibodies (CV1q) 500 μg 100 μl⁻¹ mouse⁻¹. The PBS group were treated with 100 μl PBS i.p. All mice were treated three times per week. Following their first injection, the mice were injected i.v. with 10⁵ B16F10 cells. The mice were killed 3 weeks later, the lung metastases counted and mean diameters measured with callipers. The median is shown and the Kruskal–Wallis and Dunn's multiple comparison nonparametric test calculates significance, ^*P<0.01 and ^**P<0.001.
