Acidic pH induces greater mitochondrial Ca2+ accumulation in BI-1-overexpressing cells. HT1080-Neo and HT1080-BI-1 cells were pre-loaded with 1 μm Rhod-2 for 1 h and then treated with nigericin (5 μm) in 140 mm K+, Ca2+-free buffer (pH 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0).
