Effect of VacA on the expression of VAMP7 mRNA in AGS cells. (Top) The total RNA (20 μg) that was isolated from AGS cells exposed to VacA for the specified times was blotted onto a nylon membrane and probed with ³²P-labeled VAMP7 cDNA. The experiment was repeated three times with similar results, and one representative figure is shown.
