A, relative binding activity of 6-HBs formed by N36-L8-C34 (NC) and its mutants to the synthetic peptide LLP2. Each mutant of 6-HB bears a single Ala or Val substitution at the b, c, and f positions of the helix wheels of the N- and C-helices in 6-HB. The binding activity was detected by ELISA.
