Proteins from neuronal whole cell lysates were assessed for label incorporation at several time points (1 h and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days). Circles (•) represent the protein with the lowest percent label incorporation observed, diamonds (♦) represent the highest, and squares (▪) represent the mean with error bars indicating the S.D. for all measurements at each time point. The line is a logarithmic best fit to the average percent label incorporation. All proteins quantified exhibited >70% labeling after 1 week in vitro and >80% by 2 weeks.
