The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-III (WAIS-III) and the Wechsler Memory Scale-Revised (WMS-R) yield mean scores of 100 in the normal population, with an SD of 15. The WMS-R does not provide numerical scores for individuals who score below 50. Intelligence quotient (IQ) scores for J.R.W. and R.S. are from the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Revised.
