In the CA3 stratum radiatum, a significant change only was observed at 110/120 days whereas a significant decrease was obtained in stratum oriens both at 115 and 135 days. No significant changes were observed in the hypothalamus. Pooling of sections as described in Fig. 2. One star indicates significance at the level P < 0.01, and two stars indicate P < 0.05. The data were analyzed with two-tailed unpaired t tests.
