¹Adenovirus type 5 early region 1 (Ad5E1) tumour cells (3 × 10⁵ cells) were injected either into the anterior chamber (AC) or subcutaneously (s.c.). Tumour growth was observed three times per week either by biomicroscopy (anterior chamber) or by palpation (subcutaneous).

²Ad5E1 tumour cells were injected s.c. 15–17 days prior to AC challenge.
