Thymol stimulation of hTRPA1 was selectively blocked by the hTRPA1 inhibitor camphor. hTRPA1-HEK293 cells were pretreated with camphor at various concentrations and then treated with 30 μM thymol, 100 μM cinnamaldehyde or 30 μM AITC.
