Table 2 shows the m/z ratios, p-values obtained by t-test and multiple linear regression (LM), fold-change (cancer mean intensity/control mean intensity) and area under the receiver operator characteristic curve (AUROC) for all peaks which obtained p < 0.05 in both statistical tests. The peaks that are significant in one or both statistical tests if only the early stage cancers are compared to the non-cancer controls are marked with an asterisk.
