Aggregation of ϕ29 and gp13-defective mutants with specific immunoglobulins was determined by immuno-electron microscopy. Background aggregation is less than 5% as determined by pre-immune (p.i.) IgG incubation with 13(330) particles.

a

Numbers in parentheses indicate the phage mutant used.

b

p.i. indicates pre-immune immunoglobulins isolated from the same animal used to produce the anti-gp13 IgG.
