All buffers contained 1% Triton X-100, 1 mM DTT, and 1 mM EDTA.

If the TM4-Cx43CT was further dialyzed for 12 hrs against 0.75, 0.5, 0.25, and then 0.1 M urea in 1x PBS, precipitation started to form at 0.75 M urea and continued until reaching a maximal precipitation at 0.1 M urea.
