Effect of Triton X-100 on glucosyltransferase activities. Glucosyltransferase assays were performed as described in Materials and Methods, using sonication buffer 1 (10 mM Tris-acetate, pH 8.5, 50 mM sucrose, 1.2 mM EDTA) and 0.25 mM acceptor concentration.
