eaf3 suppresses FACT mutants. (A) Tenfold dilutions of strains DY150 (wild type), DY8117 (spt16-11), DY10382 (eaf3), and DY10479 (spt16-11 eaf3) were plated on complete medium for 2 days at 25°C or at 34°C or on medium containing 100 mM HU for 4 days at 25°C. (B) Tenfold dilutions of strains DY150 (wild type), DY10382 (eaf3), DY7379 [pob3(L78R)], and DY10390 [pob3(L78R) eaf3] were plated on complete medium for 3 days at 25°C or for 5 days at 30°C or on medium containing 50 mM HU for 4 days at 25°C. (C) Tenfold dilutions of strains DY2860 (wild type), DY10880 (eaf3), DY10722 [pob3(Q308K)], and DY10883 [pob3(Q308K) eaf3] were plated on complete medium for 2 days at 25°C or 30°C or on medium containing 50 mM HU for 4 days at 25°C.
