Upward and downward arrows indicate whether the value of first term (OD or OND arbors) is significantly larger or smaller, respectively, than the second term of the comparison. Because the interest of this analysis was in the individual features of arbor development shown in each column, rather than in the significance of differences between groups, the values shown above are not corrected for multiple comparisons. However, all of the differences between groups, with the exception of OD vs normal P40, remain significant (p < 0.05) with the Bonferroni correction (Glantz, 1992). ns, Not significant.
