Clonal cell lines were treated with dexamethasone (1 μM) on alternative days for 2 weeks. Accumulation of cAMP was measured for 30 min in the absence or presence of 1 μM PMA. Values are means ± SEM of triplicate determinations of at least four independent experiments. The asterisk indicates a significant difference (P < 0.05) from nontreated cells as determined by a Student’s t test.
