Relative signal intensity [I(contra) − I(ipsi)]/I(contra) changes (in %) in the ROI of L4–L5 and L2–L3 spinal segments in response to formalin (50 μl; 5%) injection after s.c. lidocaine treatment (50 μl; 2%).
