(A) and (B) T47-D cells were treated with progesterone or MPA (both 100 nM) for 24 h, in the presence or absence of the substances as previously indicated or of transfection with moesin antisense phosphorotioate oligonucleotides (PON) (antisense - 2 µM) or sense PON (sense - 2 µM) for 48 h and cell invasion was assayed using invasion chambers. Invading cells were counted in three different central fields of triplicate membranes. Invasion indexes and representative images are shown. * = P<0.01 vs. control, ** = P<0.05 vs P or MPA.
