Enzyme assays with recombinant PvNCED1. (A) Protein concentration-dependent cleavage enzyme activity of nascent PvNCED1 (NCED68) or mature protein (NCED63). The reaction mixture in 100 μl contained 4 nmol of 9-cis-violaxanthin as substrate.
