A, Cells were lysed and steady-state Il2 mRNA was quantified using qPCR; data are representative of one of two experiments; values are expressed relative to GAPDH mRNA. B, The frequency of IL-2 producers was determined by in vitro cytokine capture assay; 7-AAD−Vβ3+ cells were gated for analyses; one of four experiments is shown.
