Block of DCA-mediated recovery of Ipeak by the TrxR inhibitor auranofin (AF). Myocytes were pretreated with 10 nmol/l AF before superfusion with diamide followed by washout with DCA. AF blocked the effect of DCA to increase Ipeak (A) but not Iss (B). AF also blocked the effect of DCA to up-regulate Ipeak after 10 µmol/l H2O2 (C).
