(A) FACS-sorted CD4⁺CD25⁺ and CD4⁺CD25⁺eGFP⁺ T cells were stimulated with soluble anti-CD3 (1 μg/ml), mature splenic DC in the presence or absence of IL-1α,β (5 ng/ml) or IL-2 (50 U/ml). ³H-TdR incorporation was measured after 72 h of culture. (B) FACS-purified CD4⁺CD25⁺T cells were stimulated with soluble anti-CD3 (1 μg/ml) and mature splenic DC in the presence of IL-1α,β (5 ng/ml). The anti-IL-2 antibody (clone S4B6) was added at 20 μg/ml.
