a

Virus in nasal washes was analyzed using FLU DETECTâ„¢ Antigen Capture Test Strip (Synbiotics Corp.) and titrated by TCID50.

b

Homologous virus was used in the HI assays to detect anti-H9 antibodies.

c

For the RGWF10 virus, two separate experiments were performed.
