Individual and mean ± 1 SD error bars for htDVA score across diagnoses. The greater the htDVA score, the poorer the visual acuity during head thrusts. Values for SCD reflect those htDVA scores in the plane of the affected superior canal, before and after plugging. Values for normal reflect those htDVA scores from nonsurgically involved canals. Only those semicircular canals that were surgically lesioned were significantly different (p < 0.0001).
