(A) Area with numerous small vesicular profiles that may be sections through discrete vesicles or convoluted tubules. (B) Vesicles and coated vesicles are particularly enriched in the region near the MTOC (asterisk). Part of the cell nucleus (Nu) can be seen in the upper right corner of the panel. (C) Coated structures can be observed throughout the cell in association with tubular membrane structures. (D) Large, coated-pit–decorated vesicles are frequently found near the plasma membrane.
