TbRGG2 is a mitochondrially localized protein. Total cell extract
from PF 29-13 cells was fractionated into cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions.
Mitochondrial extract was produced from the same strain in a separate
fractionation procedure. Five μg each of whole cell extract (WCE),
mitochondria (Mito), cytoplasmic extract (Cyto), and nuclear
extract (Nuclear) was resolved by SDS-PAGE and transferred to nylon
membrane. The membrane was then analyzed by Western blot for TbRGG2;
mitochondrial markers RBP16, KREL1, and KREPA3; cytoplasmic marker Hsp70; and
nuclear marker polymerase (Pol) II CTD.
